Fulbright U.S. Student Program Referral Form

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. State Department and aims to increase mutual understanding between the United States and other countries through the exchange of people, knowledge, and skills.

Each year, approximately 2,000 grants are awarded to US citizens to conduct research, study, or teach abroad for one year in more than 140 countries. Research awards allow students to conduct independent research in a foreign country. Study awards permit students to obtain a master’s degree from a foreign university. The English Teaching Assistant program provides the opportunity for students to assist in teaching English in a high school or university language class. Fulbright awards are open for all disciplines.

The Fulbright Program at the University of Utah is looking for exceptional, mature, and motivated students who are interested in conducting research, teaching English, or studying in a foreign university. I would appreciate if you could think of one or two students whom I could later contact to provide them with more information about the Fulbright program and how they might benefit from this prestigious award.
